Hi,

I did VLAN configuration on a linux machine(say A) as mentioned in first step.

And connected a machine (say B) using LAN cable to eth0 port of machine A with IP address 10.10.10.102.

But I am not able to access 10.10.10.102 from 10.10.10.101 and vice versa.

Can you tell me how to access host machines in vlan using this configuration?

Hi,
Since it is Exchange you are using, your in-flow is like this:
INTERNET –> 25_ASSP –2500_POSTFIX(SMTP_Relayer) –>25_Exchange

1) Does ASSP has it own postfix ? or it use the same postfix as the SMTP_Relayer?

2) What about your out-flow, what config are you using?

2a) Because if you use:
Exchange-->225_ASSP--2500_POSTFIX-->25_Internet
How do we prevent open-relay/spoof attack?
Plus we may need extra con-fig in postfix.

3) Can we secure the comunication between:
a) ASSP to POSTFIX ?
b) POSTFIX to Exchange ?
c) Exchange to ASSP ?

Hi,
Can you do a step-by-step post on how to install and configure ASSP 2.3.3 on centos 6.4 ?

but show the connection-flow first, eg:
1) You can do a step-by-step install and config using this flow:
(IN) internet->25-ASSP->25-MailServer->110-Users
(OUT) Users->225-ASSP->25-MailServer->Internet

2) (IN) Internet->25-ASSP-125-Relay->25-MailServer->110-Users
(OUT) User->25-MailServer->225-ASSP-125-Relay->Internet

in flow-option-2 the ASSP & Relay are on the same machine.

You were supposed to add swap as an extended partition rather than a primary partition, as you can have an infinite number of extended partition to add from disk.

And the Configure looks for cc and yacc by default, symlinks for which do not come with the GNU installs.

You also need a yacc - bison (GNU) or byacc (BSD).

Wel, I too faced the same issue. In fact they wanted to create a new vggroup and there was no partition that I could create as no free space /spare disks found inside the VM.

Hello, can I ask you a few questions about the RHCSA exam I will be
doing it in a few days time…I want to know about installing a new kernel
if we should do it by setting up a yum repository or via rpm or it
doesnt matter?

Will you lose marks or get the question wrong if you create a swap
partition using an LVM partition and not from a vda disk in the kvm.When
I did the exam I did not see any available disks to create the swap or
additional lvm when I fdisk -l , did I over look something? And when I
fdisk -cu /dev/vda , there was no more space to create any more
partitions.

I have a SuSe CLE which consisted of two 3 hour pracs just like the RHCE/RCHSA. They were crazy - specially the CLE I past both with just over 80% which was the pass mark with like 6 seconds to spare.

I am going to USA for work. Booked both my RCHSA and RCHE a week apart as its half price with the Australian Exchange rate. Going through Redhat centric stuff SELinux, KVM as such forth.

I have recently had my confidence dashed failing Cisco ICND 2 and taken a massive pill of humility.... Never failed something I've studied for.

Do you know how the Redhat pracs compare to the SuSe ones in difficulty?
